Angelo Doud, 78, of Burlington, died Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Azria Health, Prairie Ridge Care Center in Mediapolis.

Born Jan. 7, 1946, in Foggia, Italy, he was the son of Charles “Ralph” and Maria Doud. He graduated from Keosauqua High School and served in the Air Force.

He married Rhonda Bartsch on Aug. 7, 1983, in Lowell.

Angelo was a self-employed musician and upholsterer. He was inducted in the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Doud of Burlington; three daughters, Megan Feenstra of Burlington, Brittany Prill of West Burlington and Natalee Doud of New London; seven grandchildren, Ali Prill, Presley Prill, Pailyn Prill, Porter Prill, Cayden Scheetz, Bennett Higdon and Holland Mangels; great-grandson Kallum Bollinger and sister Donna DeJaynes of Gladstone, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Tony and niece Samara.

Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
