Unity Lutheran Church, 3109 Sunnyside Ave. The sermon will be titled, "You are who you are because of whose you are." The Scripture will be 1 Peter 1. Sunday morning worship at 10 a.m. Adult Bible Study before worship, 9 a.m. Coffee fellowship after worship.  The sermon broadcasts on 105.5 FM on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. At-home service is posted at www.trinity-burlington.org


First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 1221 Park Ave. We are having one combined outdoor service at 10:30 a.m. People attending will need lawn chairs. The service will be followed by a potluck lunch. Sermon Series: “Big Stories - A Summer of Teaching,” Sermon Title: “Jesus Rejected,” and Scripture: Mark 6: 1-13. First Congregational Church, 313. N. 4th St. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.; service begins at 10:15 a.m.; coffee fellowship follows the service in the Fellowship Hall. Sermons may be found online at fccburlington.org.

First United Methodist Church, 421 Washington St. Join us at our 9 a.m. worship service.  All are welcome. 

First Presbyterian Church, 321 N. 5th St. We will hear a reflection on the new Hesed project, with scripture from Isaiah 58:6-8 and James 2:14-17. Holy Communion will be served. Coffee hour follows the morning service in Fellowship Hall.  

The Silver Singers will rehearse on Wednesday, July 10 at 3 p.m. in the choir room of First Methodist Church.

First United Church of Christ,  611 Columbia St. (Top of Snake Alley). We are a friendly church where all are welcome. Coffee fellowship at 9:30 a.m., and Worship at 10:30 a.m. This week's message and communion will be given by Rev. Dr. F. R. Blair. 

Lunch at the Top, Thursday, July 11, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.  Serving beef rites, 2 sides, dessert, and beverage for only $7.  Carryouts are available by calling 319-754-4807 prior to 11 a.m. 

St. Paul United Church of Christ, 303 W. Mount Pleasant St., West Burlington.   We will hear Pastor JudyAnn Morse's sermon "Rejected In His Own Hometown" and scripture Mark 6:1-6 at the 10:30 a.m. Communion service with music by the Kindred Spirits.

Unitarian-Universalist Fellowship, 625 N. Sixth St. This morning we look at Judaism within the UU movement. From the UU Church in Urbana-Champaign, IL we will hear a program entitled “Jewish and UU Perspectives”. “Join us this Sunday for a conversation between our Rev. Sally and Jewish UU minister Rev. Joanna Lubkin. Music, meditation, and reflection will invite us all to consider how Jewish practice and identity can intertwine with Unitarian Universalism, and what strength and wisdom each wellspring might offer to each other.” As this is our first service of the month please feel free to bring snacks/finger food to share during our coffee time.

Ongoing Meetings/Resources:

B1Naz, 1015 S. Roosevelt Ave. Shared Blessings ministry gives away clothing to those in need on the second Saturday of every month. Volunteers will be in the metal building on the west side of the church property from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
