
Andrew Michael Smith, 31, of the Quad Cities, formerly of Burlington,
passed on to the Lord Friday, April 1, 2022, at his residence.
Born June 8, 1990, he was the son of Bradley E. and Tina P. Lundeen Smith, & brother of Casey and Caleb Smith.
Andrew graduated from Burlington High School in 2009. He also
attended Southeastern Community College. He was of the Christian Faith.
Andrew was a devoted and honest hotel clerk at the Holiday Inn
Express. He enjoyed hunting and wrestling and motorcycles. He enjoyed
hanging out with his niece and nephew as much as he could, playing
catch, riding dirt bikes and teaching them to play card games. He was
great at helping with landscaping and other outside or inside jobs for
his mother at her house in Burlington. He enjoyed playing golf,
swimming and playing games with his family.
Survivors include his mother, Tina Carson of Burlington; brother,
Casey (Amanda) Smith, and his children, Carter and Adrianna of Dewitt,
brother, Caleb (Katie) Smith of Mt Pleasant; his aunt Cindy (George)
Ricks of Eolia, Mo.; his paternal grandmother, Wanda Smith of Burlington;
his uncles, David (Laura) Smith of Ft Worth, Texas, Gary (Kay) Smith of New
London, Steve (Shari) Smith of West Burlington, & Mark Smith of
Burlington; his aunt, Lynette Phillips of Eau Claire, Wis.; and many cousins and
friends.
Andrew was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather.
The memorial service for Andrew will be Saturday, April 16, 2022 at
2:00 PM at Lunning Chapel, with the Reverend David Yonker officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Inurnment
will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
A memorial has been established for the Kelly R. O’Brien Unity House in Davenport, IA.
