David Allen Leibli, 53, of Morning Sun, died Monday, March 30, 2026, at the University of Iowa Hospitals &amp; Clinics in Iowa City. Born May 28, 1972, in Iowa City, he was the son of David Lee and Wanetta "June" Leibli. David loved spending time outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting, or camping. He was also an avid collector of skulls, motorcycles, and Avon bottles. He loved spending time with his family and his cat, Boo. Survivors include his mother, Wanetta "June" Leibli of Winfield; daughter, Sylvia Ann (Tanner) DeLong of Billings, Mont.; three sons, Austin David (Lacey) Leibli of Fort Madison, Noah Albert (Darien) Leibli of Wayland, Mo., Levi Cole (Shelby) Leibli of Anita; three grandchildren, Elana, Ethan and Tyler; fiancé, Cheryl Sturgis of Morning Sun; sister, Sue A. (Dave Hillman Jr.) Lite of&nbsp; Mount Pleasant; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father, and many aunts and uncles. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory. A dual celebration of life for David A. and his father, David L. will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the Beach Shelter House at Lake Geode State Park. Prugh Funeral Service is in care of the arrangements.
