Christine Pomberg, 60, passed away on July 24, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by friends and family who loved her deeply.&nbsp; A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2026, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in West Point, Iowa.&nbsp; Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in West Point. All are invited to attend, and a small reception will be held afterward. Schmitz Funeral Home of West Point is assisting the family with arrangements.
