James F Barr, 90, of Burlington, died at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the Morning Sun Care Center in Morning Sun.&nbsp; Born December 16, 1931, in Burlington, he was the son of Mark Chester and Ruth Wilke Barr. James worked in transportation for CB&amp;Q RR Freight Agent, he was a Traffic Manager for United Facilities, Junior Traffic Manager for Grain Processing in Muscatine, and Gail Products in Galesburg. Survivors include his friends, Caleb &nbsp;Larson of Mediapolis, and their children, Walker and Kase Larson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Barbara.&nbsp;Visitation will be July 5 from 12 to 7 p.m. with the Larson family to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home. There will be a private funeral service for Mr. Barr at a later date. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.&nbsp;In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society.&nbsp;
