
Lora Lyn Brucker, 64, of Gladstone, Illinois, died Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at her home.
Born October 24, 1961, in Burlington, Iowa, she was the daughter of Roy and Genevieve Burroughs Elledge.
She served in the Air Force and was honorably discharged as an A1C-E3.
She married Steve “Louis” Brucker on October 3, 1998.
Lora worked for several years as a hairdresser; in addition, she worked as a dental technician and an optical technician. She was talented in many aspects of her life.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Lora enjoyed landscaping, her gardens, and loved her dogs, fishing, and being with her family. She wishes for you all to know that she is okay and is at peace with God. She was not perfect but knows that Jesus will take care of her. She would like to be remembered as fun and joyful and had a great appreciation for her clients and those she served throughout her life. She was truly humbled and overwhelmed at the outpouring of love and generosity shown to her and her family during her benefit held in May.
She is survived by her husband Steve “Louis” Brucker; two sons, whom she was so very proud of, Toran (Shelene) Billups and Dekker Billups; grandson Christopher Billups; siblings, David (Paula) Elledge, Kristine Elledge, Karen (Dan) Simpson, Scott (Jonathan) Elledge, Kim Kipp (Jeff Poulter) and Pamela Jackson; nieces and nephews, Darby, Jack, Wade, Bailea, Kolby and Kyle and her beloved dog Hank.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Marc Elledge and nephew Paul Elledge.
Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Saturday, February 14th at Lunning Chapel. Visitation with family will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
A celebration of life will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 14th with Pastor Dean Graber officiating.
