Myron Vernon “Sonny” Schulz, 91, of Burlington, died Oct. 11, 2021. He was born Feb. 10, 1930, to Myron and Opal Hillyard Schulz. He married Dorothy Wagenbach on July 14, 1950. He was baptized on Nov. 22, 1964, and was a faithful member of the Oakville and Burlington Apostolic Christian Churches.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; brother, Donny; sister, Thelma Siegle, daughter-in-law, Karen Lanz Schulz; and three great-grandchildren.
He is survived by one sister, Velma Scheitlin; five children, Gary Schulz, Roger Schulz, Janette Schulz, and Lorna Knapp, all of Burlington, and Peggy Jevremov of Escondido, Calif.; 30 grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Lunning Chapel on Friday, Oct. 15 from 5-8 p.m. and at the Burlington Apostolic Christian Church before the funeral from 9-9:45 am on Saturday, Oct. 16. The funeral is at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend.
