Eva Fern Schwind Belsley, 94, of Burlington formerly of Oakville, died Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Oakview Nursing and Rehab Center.

Born March 11, 1928, in Ringwood, Okla., she was the daughter of William P. and Susie Mae Hardin Schwind.

Eva attended Oklahoma grade school and graduated from Burlington High School in 1946.

Eva was baptized in the First Baptist Church and attended the Mediapolis Apostolic Christian Church.

On March 10, 1965, she married Richard Joe Belsley in Biggsville, Ill. He died August 12, 2015.

Eva was a member of the Golden Hour Study Club and the VFW 10102 auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting.

Survivors include her children Donald A. Belsley of Palm Springs, Calif., Robert B. (Nicole) Belsley of Columbus, Ga., Nancy C. Belsley of Hawaii, Hawaii, and Karen D. (Chris) Moore of Marion; brother William (Mary) Schwind of Burlington; one grandson Michael Belsley of Columbus, Ga. and two granddaughters Lydia and Elise Moore of Marion; brother-in-law, Glenn Belsley; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and Stepfather Ellis R. Long, husband, four sisters, and daughter Katherine Ann.

The funeral service for Eva will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 30 at Lunning Chapel with Mr. Dale Frank officiating. Interment will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, November 30 at Lunning Chapel where the family will receive friends. A luncheon will be held following services at the Burlington Apostolic Christian Church.
