Juan Gonzalez, 66, of Burlington, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2024, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington. Born Nov. 5, 1958, in Brownsville, Texas, he was the son of Roman and Olivia Becerra Gonzalez.
Juan loved cars and was an excellent mechanic. He was well known for his mechanical abilities throughout Burlington. He loved watching western movies and took his beagle (Wishes) with him wherever he went. He loved his family and would talk on the phone with them for hours. His wife, children and his granddaughter were the light of his life. He absolutely adored his granddaughter and tried to give her everything she asked for. Juan's passing leaves a pronounced emptiness, but his memory and legacy will continue on through all who love him.
