Frances S. Vikturek, 95, of Fort Madison, passed away at 11:59 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at her home. She was born on August 15, 1926, in Austin, MN to Gaylord “Spike” & Edna Mae Foster Ramage. She married Garman Vikturek on February 14, 1944, in Austin, MN. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2017. She enjoyed fishing, camping, canning, gardening, and playing cards. She was in two card clubs for 30 years. She was a wonderful cook, mom & grammy. She was a member of the Fort Madison United Methodist Church.
Frances is survived by one son, Kenny (Shenda) Vikturek of Fort Madison; two daughters, Sharon Morris of West Burlington and Dianne (Don) Panek of New London; 3 granddaughters: Angela Raid, Andrea (Tim) McGinn, and Rachel (Jack) Watson; one step-grandson, Tyler Houseal and six great-grandchildren, Quentin, Tavin, Noelle, Zivon, Ezvan, and Laurel. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, two brothers, and one sister.
