
Delores Moehn Butler, 98, of Burlington, died at 9:04 PM Friday, March 25, 2022, at Savannah Heights in Mount Pleasant.
Born October 1, 1923, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Charles H and Hattie Johnson Moehn.
She worked at McKesson Robbins Co., First National Bank of Long
Beach, CA, and Burlington Area Credit Union. She also worked as a
Hairdresser at the Burlington Hotel.
She was a member of Women of the Moose and Ladies Auxiliary of the
Eagles. She was of the Protestant faith. Delores enjoyed boat riding and
fishing on the Mississippi River and would take her grandson Brett
along. She enjoyed going to see shows and took her granddaughter Dawn to
see Disney on Ice and the Rockettes at Christmas time. Delores enjoyed
watching her two great grandsons Josh and Owen, that live in Burlington.
She was interested in keeping up with what Sydney, Gage, and Audrey were
involved in as well.
Survivors include daughter-in-law, Sandy Agnew of Burlington; two
grandchildren, Dawn (Ben) Gulick of Burlington and Brett Agnew of Des
Moines; great-grandchildren, Josh & Owen Gulick of Burlington,
Sydney, Gage & Audrey Agnew of Des Moines; and four nephews, David
Eland, Don (Jan) Eland, Gary (Betty) Huston and Dick (Mary) Huston.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, DeWayne Agnew; three
sisters, Wilma, Harriet and Peg; and two brothers, Don and Richard
"Bud".
The Graveside Committal Service for Mrs. Butler will be at 11:00 AM
Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Aspen Grove Cemetery, with Pastor Dean
Graber officiating.
