Anthony De Carlo Campbell, 44, of Burlington, tragically passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Born Jan. 21, 1980, in Louisiana, Miss., he was the son of Darryl Chatman and Carmen Yvette Campbell.
Anthony was an incredibly kind, driven and talented man. He was a D.J., singer, rapper, barber, recording engineer, youth mentor, and occasionally, landscaping. He was always giving of his time or his praise. He liked supporting those around him, lifting them up and pointing out their strengths and helping them feel better about themselves. He loved to joke around and liked to keep a smile on the faces of those around him. He loved talking with people and learning about their lives. Moreover, he loved his family. His children, siblings, parents and friends meant the world to him. Anthony's incredible personality and kindness will be missed tremendously; but his passion, art and legacy will continue on through his music and all who love him.
Anthony's remaining family include his mother, Carmen Campbell; siblings, Adrian Campbell, Demetrias Campbell, and Candace Lewis; paternal siblings, Terrell Griffith, Chanta Starks, and Marcus Moore; children, Quincy Porter, Daylen Campbell, Makyla Campbell, Rihanna Campbell, Aaliyah Campbell, and Kiara Winski; nieces and nephews, De'Mechia Campbell, Nyvaeh Pierre, Tyona Campbell, Sandreah Campbell, Taybren Campbell, Asia Campbell and Kayzure Lewis; girlfriend, Brooke Riley; Mother of Aliyah and Rihanna - Brenna Murphy; and Wilford Moore Jr. who helped raise Anthony as a father figure in his life.
Sadly, Anthony was preceded in death by his grandma, Fannie Campbell; aunts and uncle, Julie White, Carla Campbell and Frederick Anthony Campbell, his namesake.
