Keith Lane Rich, 60, of New London, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2024.

Born Aug. 1, 1964, in Burlington, he was the son of Kenneth Lee Rich Jr. and Sandra Jean Rich Russell. In 1987, he married Jeanette Carol Whitten in Danville. They later divorced.&nbsp;

He was a graduate of New London High School.

Keith worked as a truck driver for over 30 years. He began his career with Gabeline Trucking and worked for a few other companies before retiring from McLaughlin Freight Services.

Keith was an avid Chicago Bears fan, loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and working on cars, especially his '65 Plymouth Valiant. He enjoyed going mudding with his friends, fishing, and hunting.

Survivors include his father, Kenneth Lee Rich, Jr. of Mt. Union; mother, Sandra Jean (Larry) Russell of Burlington; two sons, Mark Allen Rich of New London and Matthew Lee Rich of Coyne Center, Ill.; two grandchildren, Peyton Lane Rich, and Beckham Rich; two sisters, Kendra Jean (Eric) Knottnerus of Riverside and Kori Lynn Rich of New London; partner, Patty Baas of Mount Pleasant; lifelong friend, Tom Davis; niece and nephews, Ridge Hobbs, Jade Hobbs, Bryce Smith, and Bryant Smith; and five great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his close friends, Joe Custer and Glenn Hite.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
