Linda S. Davis, 78, of Burlington, passed on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington after a short unexpected illness.

Born October 3, 1947, in Rock Island, Illinois, she was the daughter of “Junky” George and Betty Suter.

Linda worked as an Administrative Assistant, and she was a member of First United Church of Christ.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing, traveling to Sanibel Island to look for shells and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her three children: Susan Reilly (Fred), Rob Davis (Rabecka) and Jeff Davis (Allison); two grandchildren: Abbie Chastain (Chris) and Maddie Sharp, and one great granddaughter, Mercer.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mike Suter.

A graveside gathering will be held for the family at a later date.

Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.
