Clara M. Osborn, 79, of Waterloo, formerly of Burlington, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024, at Ravenwood Specialty Care in Waterloo. Clara's family would like to thank the hospital and nursing home in Waterloo for all the wonderful care they provided to her during her time there.
Born Aug. 29, 1945, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Earl Hudson and Vera Hull Cook. On June 14, 1964, she married Robert Lewis in Burlington.
She attended Burlington High School.
Clara was a homemaker and had previously worked at the Hawkeye Hotel.
She enjoyed fishing, camping, watching TV shows to include Westerns and Walker Texas Ranger and John Wayne movies, crocheting and salt and pepper shaker collecting. Clara was a huge Elvis fan, enjoyed going to Old Threshers and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Robert Lewis Osborn of Waterloo; two sons, Robert Earl Osborn of Roy, Utah, Roger Lee Osborn of Burlington; sister, Ruth Morris of Burlington; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Betty Bissell.
Visitation will be from 12 to 5 p.m. with the family to receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2024 at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division Street.
