Donald Chipman, the owner of Modern Barbershop, has been working for months to restore the interior of his downtown Burlington business.
"It has a long road revamping this old shop. My friend Ian Beard put in lots of free hours helping to get this done. Logan Hand, the owner of Fine Line Painting, did a fantastic job. I'm happy to see it come back to life," Chipman said.
Chipman took over the family trade of hair cutting from his father about three decades ago. His father owned a barbershop in the same building for more than 30 years.
