Two men were shot late Sunday night in Burlington, both in the leg.
Neither gunshot wound proved to be life-threatening, and the Burlington Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division has launched an investigation.
Burlington Police Sgt. John Stirn said the shooting occurred shortly after 10 p.m., with the initial call directing officers to the 2300 block of Washington Street.
The men, who have not been identified by police, were taken to Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. No further details have been released.
