Thomas E. Mosena, 79, of Cape Coral, Florida, formerly of Burlington, died Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Ambassador Health Care Center in Fort Myers, Florida.

Born November 15., 1946, in Burlington, Iowa, he was the son of Glenn and Lucille (Robinson) Mosena.&nbsp; He was a graduate of Burlington High School and served in the Iowa Army National Guard 224th Division from June 1965 until November 1972.

Tom was the owner/operator of Mosena Electric for over 50 years.&nbsp; He was of the Catholic faith.

He managed the Burlington Little League teams for 10 years and really enjoyed his time spent coaching.&nbsp; He was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan.

He is survived by his two daughters; Heather Mosena and Suzanne (Brian) Rice both of Florida; two grandchildren, Brandon Rice and Morgan Rice; siblings, Daniel, Robert, Carolyn and Mary and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Shirley Brunken.

According to his wishes, cremation.&nbsp; A private burial will be held in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery. &nbsp;
