Ronnie C. Worley, 70, of Lomax, Ill., died March 29, 2024.
Ronnie was born Jan. 1, 1954, in Mayfield, Ky., the son of Lawrence and Vona B. Sipes Worley. On Dec. 17, 1978, he married Deb Pence in Lomax.
Mr. Worley was a graduate of Dallas City High School. He began his working career with the Ironworkers Local #557 and retired from Case in Burlington, where he was a member of the UAW #807. He was a member of the former Lomax Saddle Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses and Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, playing guitar and especially spending time with his family. He was a lover of classic muscle cars and trucks.
Survivors include his wife, Deb; three children: Ranee (Bryan) Beach of Colusa, Shane (Adrianne) Worley of Dallas City and Molly (Jessi Harris) Worley of Chicago, Ill.; five grandchildren: Kelsey (Ben) Glancy, Chloe (Tanner Purdum) Walker, Allison Worley and Evan Worley; two great-grandchildren: Charli and Palmer and one sister: Carolyn (Bob) Todd of Cuba, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister: Beverly Siegfried.
A visitation with the family will be from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City.
The funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Banks & Beals in Dallas City with Pastor Maxine Dennison officiating. Burial will follow at Crane Cemetery, near Lomax.
