Dennis Roy Miller, 69, of Burlington, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born June 20, 1955, in Burlington, he was the son of James Leroy and Marilyn Gieselman Miller.
He graduated from Mediapolis High School.
Dennis was a lifelong farmer.
Dennis enjoyed morel hunting, sky diving and loved to spend his winters in Mexico. These last few years he had become an Iowa Women's Basketball fan because of Caitlin Clark. Dennis was also well known for socializing with his friends, he would go to town every night for at least a few hours.
Survivors include his father, James Leroy Miller; brother, Bob (Traci) Miller of Winfield; sister, Penny (Rick) Dopler of Burlington; three nieces; one nephew; many great nieces and nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Family will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division Street.
The funeral service for Mr. Miller will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, at Prugh Funeral Service, with Pastor Wally Reynolds officiating. Private family burial will be held in Old Stone Cemetery.
Memorials have been established for Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House and Old Stone Cemetery.
