Patricia Ann “Trish” Ryan, 80, of Burlington, died Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at her home.

Born May 19, 1944, in Burlington, Iowa, she was the daughter of Robert and Edith Moehlman. She married E. Wayne Ryan on Aug. 31, 2013.

Trish was an instructor and taught many to sew at Sandi’s Sewing Connection, she was a Girl Scout leader and director and worked as a clerk and stenographer for Young House Family Services.

She was an active member of Parkside First Baptist Church and was involved with the youth, teaching Sunday school and the women’s bible class. She was a mentor to many women and had a great heart.

She is survived by her husband E. Wayne Ryan; three stepdaughters and her special children Karen Sykes and Kevin (Janet) Ryan and grandson Nicholas Ryan.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The funeral service for Mrs. Ryan will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5th at Parkside First Baptist Church. Pastor William Ullom will officiate. Burial will be in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral service.
