Andrew Lee Davis, 42, of Burlington, died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice in West Burlington.
Born July 30, 1980, in Burlington, he was the son of Kenneth L. and Jeanne Dehner Davis. On May 6, 2007, he married Tiffany McIntyre in Las Vegas, Nev.
Andrew graduated from Burlington High School.
He worked in factories, and really enjoyed truck driving for the last two years for Crete Carrier Corporation out of Lincoln, Nebraska.
Andrew was of Catholic faith. In his youth, he really enjoyed playing baseball. He loved being a bat boy for the Burlington Bees and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Andrew loved the outdoors and going fishing. He also enjoyed playing poker and pool. Andrew had a great sense of humor and was always teasing his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Tiffany Davis of Burlington; parents, Kenneth and Jeanne Davis of Burlington; sister, Amy Davis of Burlington; two nieces, Kyla McIntyre of Stronghurst, Ill. and Novalynn McIntyre of Lomax, Ill.; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and son, Ryan David Davis.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
Visitation will be from 12 to 7 p.m. with the family to receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division St.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Burlington Fire Department and the Des Moines County Humane Society.
