Malls, retail stores, tanning facilities, dentists, and campgrounds in Des Moines County were allowed to reopened to the public on Friday after Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds eased COVID-19 restrictions.
All businesses must follow social distancing guidelines, increased hygiene practices, and not go over 50 percent capacity. There have been 11,059 confirmed positive cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Iowa, with 4,266 people recovered and 231 deaths.

The "open" sign is placed on the door at B-Town Comics and Games. The store reopened on Friday and will operate with shorter hours for the next few weeks. All retail stores are taking the necessary precautions to protect customers and employees.
