Police are on the hunt for a dark-colored SUV related to a shooting that occurred around 11 p.m. Monday night in the area of South and 12th Streets.
No one was injured in the shooting, and police did not discover any property damage in the area. They did find several shell casings.
Multiple shots were fired, but police have not ascertained how many.
The only suspect description is the dark SUV itself. The culprit or culprits fired out the window from inside the vehicle before leaving the scene, and witnesses could not provide a description of the suspects.
Burlington police told The Beacon early Tuesday morning that no motive has been determined yet. Police are asking for the public’s health in identifying the shooter and/or their vehicle.
