A man was taken to Great River Medical Center in West Burlington Saturday morning (June 13) after being shot in the lower leg in the area of Summer and Angular streets in Burlington.
According to Burlington Police Sgt. John Stirn, officers responded to the call around 4:35 a.m. Saturday. Police discovered shell casings in the area, and witnesses reported hearing three or four gunshots. Police have yet to identify the man due to the ongoing investigation.
No suspect description or further details about the man were available Saturday morning, though police may release more information as the investigation continues.
