Sharon K. Frank, 63, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024, at Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born on May 7, 1960, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Harlan and Helen Balzer Miller. On July 12, 1991, she married Leonard L. Frank in Burlington. He preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 2011.
Sharon was a graduate of Mediapolis High School and obtained her Licensed Practical Nursing degree from Southeastern Community College. For over 20 years Sharon worked at Hope Haven as an LPN until her retirement in 2017. In her free time, she loved fishing, hunting arrowheads, working in her garden, and taking walks with Steve. Most of all Sharon loved being with her two sons and grandchildren. She took great pride in being very dedicated to them.
She is survived by two sons: Jacob (Brandy) Woodsmall and Lucas (Heather) Woodsmall all of Burlington; four precious grandchildren; three siblings: Dale (Lucinda) Miller of Burlington, Joyce (Roger) Garnsey of Monmouth, Ill., and Diane Givens of Burlington and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her very special partner of 11 years, Steve Foudree.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers: Gary and Marvin Miller, and brother-in-law John Givens.
Per Sharon's wishes, cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel and no services will be held.
