Jeff Coursey, 63, of Burlington, died Thursday, April 13, 2023, at his home in Burlington surrounded by family.
Born Feb. 17, 1960, in Burlington, he was the son of Richard and Betty Ann Burnette Coursey. On March 2, 2023, he married Jennifer Springsteen, whom he had been with for 25 years.
He was a graduate of Burlington Community High School 1979.
Jeff worked for Flint Cliffs Manufacturing as a production worker for 24 years.
Jeff loved going to the farm, having bonfires, and fishing with his nephews. He enjoyed making fireplaces and loved Lynyrd Skynyrd, was a Minnesota Vikings fan and a NASCAR fan until Dale Earnhardt Sr. passed away. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his friends, especially at Farney's.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Coursey of Burlington; daughter, Edie L. Warth of Burlington: nine grandchildren; father, Richard Coursey of Fort Madison; two brothers, Steve (Brenda) Coursey of Monmouth, Ill., and Tim Coursey of Burlington; sister, Jolinda Coursey of Fort Madison; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Patrick Coursey, and two daughters Emily Pinkston and Melanie Warth.
A elebration of life will be held at a later date.
