James Everett "Bo" Clark, 76, died Sept. 5, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. He was born January 23, 1948, in Radcliff, Ky., to Joseph and Helen Vowels Clark.
He grew up and attended school in Radcliff. He was a United States Army Veteran. Bo ran his own body shop and worked many years as a welder for J.I. Case Company, retiring from there in 2001. He was a proud UAW 807 Union Member.

Bo was a loving husband and father, and an ornery old cuss who loved to joke and laugh. He enjoyed time spent on the river with friends and time with his family; especially with his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Tami (Gibson) Clark of Burlington, Iowa; sons, Jim (Annette) Clark of DeWitt, Iowa, Rick (Shelby) Hitchcock of Andalusia, Ill., Tony (Jen) Clark of DeWitt, Marty (Mindy) Clark of Rock Island, Ill.; stepchildren, Angie (Ben) Pella of Burlington, Tom (Jen) Rund-Scott of Holland, Mich., Daniel (Alicia) Scott of Lee's Summit, Mo., and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Teresa (Wayne) Reeves of Tyler, Texas; brother, Mike (Trudy) Kitchen of DeWit.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Helen (Vowels) Clark; brothers, Dave Clark, John Kitchen, Ernie Kitchen, and Charles Kitchen; sisters, Hazel Short and Wanda Tillberg.

Bo did not wish for services. A celebration of life will be held in his honor at a later date.
