Mary Jane Allen, 68, of Burlington, died Friday, May 6, 2022, at her home in Burlington.

Born August 5, 1953, in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of Arthur J, and Florence R. Plummer Oleksiak.

Mary worked at Champion Spark Plug for many years as a machine operator. Following her employment at Champion, she worked for Hy-Vee in Burlington for many years.

Mary enjoyed golfing, bowling, crafts, gardening, baking, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son, Christopher Scott (Mindy) Allen of Katy, Texas; five grandchildren, Caleb and Josh Allen, Seline, Stacy, and Auri Sieu; one sister, Suzette Oleksiak of Stow, Ohio; and two brothers, Arthur J. Oleksiak, Jr. of Chesterland, Ohio, and David Oleksiak of Toledo, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Joanne Szych, and two brothers, Jerome and John.

Visitation will be from 12:00 to 7:00 PM, with the family to receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home. A Rosary service will conclude the visitation at 7:00 PM.
