Jefferson Street in Burlington ceased to exist for a few hours Saturday (July 17) — taken over by an antique market that attracted vendors and customers from around the country.
A Very Vintage Market, the annual event that went on hiatus last year due to the pandemic, returned with the force of a small city. Thousands of people walked Jefferson Street throughout the day, with some vendors selling out of inventory by 10:30 a.m.
Third Street served as food vendor row, and the F&M Bank & Trust provided perfect shade for shoppers. Street musicians propped up the festival-like atmosphere, lending the market a big event feel.
