Jim L Kelton, 62, of Burlington, died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospital in Burlington.

Born January 25, 1960, in Fort Smith, Ark., he was the son of Wade and Doris Wallace Kelton.

He was a proud Air Force veteran. A truck driver by trade, and an entrepreneur, he had ideas for many projects.

He is survived by his children; Christina Kelton of Florida, Cherish Kelton of Mount Pleasant, and Vincent Kelton of Iowa; two grandchildren; his long-term caregiver and companion, Annette Ellison of Burlington; three sisters, Beverly Macke, Diana Fisk, Shirley McAlister all of Arkansas, and nieces and nephews.

According to his wishes, there will be no services. Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.
