Marjorie J. Marshall, 85, of Burlington, died Thursday, October 20, 2022, at her home.
Born March 14, 1937, in Camp Point, Illinois, she was the daughter of Lloyd F. and Hazel M. Smith.
She moved at an early age to Burlington, where she grew up and attended Burlington schools. She married Edgar L. Marshall on March 21, 1957. They divorced and remarried on February 17, 1968. He died September 8, 2007.
Marjorie worked at different jobs through the years in housekeeping with Burlington Hospital, Park Manor, Burlington Care Center and was a home health aide.
She enjoyed reading, crafting, watching TV, and enjoyed visiting with her friends and neighbors at Autumn Heights.
She is survived by three children; Carolyn Marshall, James Marshall, and Robert Marshall all of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Edith Lyon, two sisters, and two brothers.
The memorial funeral service for Marjorie will be at 3 p.m. on Monday, October 24 at Lunning Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
