Waunita Vanderhorst, 77, of Fort Madison, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023, at the Aspire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mediapolis.

Born Aug. 22, 1945, in Oskaloosa, she was the daughter of George and Esther Sharp Ketter.

Waunita was a homemaker. She loved to go to Bingo, hang out with her nieces, shopping and sewing.

Survivors include her four children; Carl Siegworth, Arthur Siegworth, Lyle Siegworth, and Mary Ellen Siegworth; her niece Sue Moyers of Fort Madison; great nieces, Bianca Moyers, Frances Smith, and Brandi Moyers and great-great nieces and nephews, Mateo Smith, Bentley Smith, Corvin Moyers-Boal, Ava Albright and Sophia Albright.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Ann Keever, and Elva Ketter.

There will be no services for Ms. Vanderhorst. Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.
