Jacob Allen Rahe, 35, of Burlington, died Monday, March 31, 2025, at his home. Born Jan. 12, 1990, in Corona, Calif., he was the son of John and Sandra Rahe.
Jacob worked for Domino’s Pizza for over 20 years. He attended Flint Hills Church of the Nazarene.
He was fascinated with looking at the stars and enjoyed Astronomy. He was an artist, did many drawings and loved building things. He was a kind soul, quiet, but always concerned about others before himself. He loved playing video games and building Legos. Jacob was very intelligent and was a deep thinker and above everything else, his children were his life.
He will be greatly missed by his parents John and Sandra Rahe; his three children, Genesis Rahe and her mother Emily Hutchins, Genevieve Rahe and Sebastian Rahe and their mother Vanessa Zipprich; two brothers Robert Denny and Johnny Denny.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mel and Doras Bristol, uncle Don Bristol, aunt Cheryl Lemay and paternal great grandmother Lois Westendorf.
The memorial funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, April 7 at Flint Hills Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Scott Landon will officiate. Burial will be held in the mausoleum at Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the memorial service.
A memorial has been established for his legacy.
Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.
