Linda Krantz, 81, of Burlington, died Saturday, July 11, 2026, at her home.

Born September 25, 1944, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Arthur Frank and Helen Martha Nelson Zaiss. On December 2, 1967, she married Wayne Harry Krantz in Nowata, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on January 19, 2021.

She graduated from Burlington High School in 1962. She would later earn a Bachelor of Science Degree from Kansas State College of Pittsburg.

She enjoyed watching her TV programs and absolutely loved her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Art Krantz of West Burlington, and his four children, Dylan (Shania) Krantz of Liberty, Zachery Krantz of Iowa City, Andrew Krantz of Burlington, and Spencer Krantz of Indianola; daughter, Wendy Conlee of West Burlington, and her two children, Nicholas Conlee of West Burlington and Caitlyn Conlee of Cedar Falls.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Shirley Zaiss Johnson.

A private family burial will be held at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
