
Angela Mary Walters, 78, of Carman, Ill., died Thursday, December 15, 2022, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born November 27, 1944, in Galesburg, Ill., she was the daughter of Bryce W. and Mary T. Peluso Schrodt. She married John Walters and together they had one son. She later married Raymond Booten. He later passed.
She was a graduate of Abington High School. She continued her education at the University of Iowa, receiving a bachelor's degree in science.
Angela served in the U.S. Army as a medic.
She worked for Federal-Mogul for many years, until her retirement.
Angela enjoyed spending time outdoors. She was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan and would not be disturbed while she was watching the game. Most of all she loved spending time with her dogs. She would take them for long walks and spoil her babies.
Survivors include her son Joe M. (Vicki) Walters of Plymouth, Ill.; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bryce "Bud" and sister, Gloria.
Per Angela's wishes, Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory. No services will be held at this time.
A memorial has been established for her family.
