Mark Allen Deggendorf, 62, passed away on April 22, 2022, unexpectedly at his home of natural causes.
He was born on April 12th, 1960, in Monticello, to Robert "Bob" Deggendorf and Ruby Sharon Dill Deggendorf.
Mark grew up in Burlington, Iowa. He graduated from Burlington Community High School in 1978. After high school, he attended Southeast Missouri State College in Cape Girardeau, Mo., with his Bachelor of Science degree in 1983. Following college, he moved to Colorado Springs, Co., where he ended up working for the El Paso County Motor Vehicles Department, and retired after 25 years of service.
Mark enjoyed traveling and took many trips with friends to the Caribbean and took a couple of trips to Deggendorf, Germany. Mark was also a certified scuba diver. He enjoyed spending time with friends, family and had a love for Carin Terrier's, leaving behind his dog, Sydney, that was family to him.
Mark is survived by his mother, Ruby Sharon Dill Deggendorf of Burlington,; two brothers, Mike (Judy) Deggendorf of Bonner Springs, Kans., Steve (Angie) Deggendorf of Danville, ; & several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 12:00 to 4:00 PM, with the family to receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home.
