Born August 30, 1933, in Afton, Iowa, she was number 11 of 16 children born to Bert and Ava Mae Mills Dady. She was proud of the fact that she obtained her G.E.D. at the age of 40. She attended First Church of the Nazarene.

She was an avid collector of dolls and was famous for her pies and fried chicken. She was the best to everyone. Anyone she met; she touched their lives.

The funeral service for Mrs. Pfadenhauer will be 3 p.m. Friday, July 19 at Lunning Chapel. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Friday.

A memorial has been established for Hope Haven, a Division of Imagine the Possibilites, in memory of LaVon.
