Ruth Ann Myers, 73, of Stronghurst, Illinois, died Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at St. Francis O.S.F. Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.&nbsp; Born September 14, 1948, in West Point, Iowa, she was the daughter of Anthony Frank and Clara (Hawkins) Fraise. She married Paul Myers on March 24, 1989. He died May 15, 2003.&nbsp; Ruth served in home health care and cared for hospice patients for many years until her own health began declining. She was very passionate about taking care of the elderly, she was an avid gardener and loved her time spent with her grandkids and her dog Chloe.&nbsp; She is survived by her two children; Kantina (Sean) Schmiers of Danville, Iowa and Robert (Lisa) Carroll of Biggsville, Illinois; five grandchildren; four siblings, Annette Jones of Ottumwa, Alfred Fraise of Farmington, Ralph (Linda) Fraise of Fort Madison and Glenn Fraise of Argyle.&nbsp; She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Ronnie, Raymond and Melvin and two sisters, Esther and Josephine.&nbsp; A celebration of life will be held at a later date at Ruth’s home. According to her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel. &nbsp;A memorial has been established.&nbsp;
