Bertha L. Price, 99, of Burlington, died Sunday, September 25, 2022, at the OakView Nursing Home and Rehabilitation in Burlington.

Born September 20, 1923, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Albert Carl and Louise Klein Larkins. On June 1, 1947, she married Collin Keith Price in Burlington. He died on December 29, 2012.

She was a 1941 graduate of Burlington High School.&nbsp;

Bertha was employed for 8 1/2 years at the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. and worked 18 years at Coast T.U. Shop.

She had attended Jehovah's Witnesses Church. She loved bingo, listening to country western music, dancing, eating out, shopping, crossword puzzles, watching westerns on TV, and playing pinochle.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Kay Price (Michael Hamilton) of Des Moines;&nbsp;niece, Lynn Lawson of West Virginia, nephew Larry (Brenda)&nbsp;Larkins of Rockport, Tex.; and many great nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, son, Scott Price, and one brother, Art Larkins.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

The Graveside Committal Service for Mrs. Price will be 3 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2022, at Aspen Grove Cemetery with Pastor Dean Graber officiating.&nbsp;

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Iowa Library for the Blind in Des Moines.
