Megan Ann Koss, 39, of Burlington, died Monday, Oct. 4, 2021, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born April 12, 1982, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Lyle and Ginny Smith Koss.
She graduated from Burlington High School then went to Western Illinois University and received her Bachelors of Arts degree.
Megan loved attending church, teaching art, quilting, wood burning, and babysitting.
Survivors include her parents; one brother, Steve (Sarah) Koss of Oneida, Ill.; two sisters, Molly (Nick) Carruthers of Brownstown, Ill. and Heidi Swenson of New London; one niece and three nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her grandparents and one aunt, Lynnette Miller
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
The family has requested that all who attend wear a face covering or mask for the services.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at Prugh-Thielen Funeral Home.
The memorial service for Miss Koss will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at Prugh-Thielen Funeral Home.
A memorial has been established for her expenses.
