Linda Kay Klossing, 75, of West Burlington, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington. Born Oct. 11, 1948, she was the daughter of Horace “Bud” and Delma Morrison Bell.
Linda graduated from Danville High School in 1966. She married Michael Key in 1967 and they later divorced. On May 9, 1986, she married Clyde Klossing Jr. in Burlington. He died Jan. 12, 2006.
Linda worked for Motorola and then Winegard, retiring in 2003. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was a big Iowa Hawkeye fan. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was of the protestant faith.
Survivors include her daughter Marta (Jerald) Frost of Graham, N.C.; three grandchildren Alona Yarnell of Graham, N.C., JerRon (Nyssa) Frost and Jaylen (Ashlee Duerksen) Frost both of Burlington; four great-grandchildren Sunny Yarnell, Teagen Yarnell, Madison Yarnell-Shaw and Jones Frost; brother Jerry (Nancy) Bell of Vicksburg, Miss.; niece Allison (Greg) Bennett of Germantown, Tenn.; nephew Matthew (Haley) Bell of Vicksburg, Miss. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Clyde.
The funeral service for Linda will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 29 at Lunning Chapel. Interment will be in Long Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers and plants, at Linda’s request, a memorial has been established for the education of the great-grandchildren.
