William Joseph Stout, 68, of West Burlington, formerly of Mediapolis, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center. Born Sept. 2, 1953, in Burlington, he was the son of William Frank and Lucille Stadtlander Stout. On July 8, 1975, William married Linda Van Osdol. They later divorced. He married Connie Elaine Burtalo on Dec. 14, 1987. She died Oct. 18, 2009. William graduated from Burlington High School in 1972. He was a construction laborer by trade. Survivors include his daughter, Misty Grasso of Burlington; son, Andrew Stout of West Burlington; sister, Kathy Murphy of West Burlington; brother, Larry Stout of Burlington; and one granddaughter. Per Williams’s request there will be no service or visitation. Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to Lunning Chapel. Inurnment will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery at a later date.
