Robert "Bob" Saar, 74, of Burlington, died Saturday, March 30, 2024 at his home.

Born May 27, 1949, he was the son of Jesse Lee and Gertrude G. Conrad Saar Jr.

Bob graduated from Burlington High School in 1967 and Attended Iowa State University.

Survivors include one brother, Jesse Lee Saar III of Burlington; three sisters Janet Saar Bouve of Brookville, Mo., Elizabeth Anne Saar of Madison, Wisconsin and Mary Kathryn Saar of North Liberty.

Per his wishes, cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

A memorial has been established in memory of Bob Saar, and may be sent to The Capitol Theater 211 N. 3rd St, Burlington, IA 52601.
