Delores Ann Pence, 77, of Iowa City, formerly of Burlington, died Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.Born January 17, 1947 in Burlington, she was the daughter of George and Merle Sanderson Pence. Delores was a school teacher and she was the office manager of Flint Hills Golf Course for over 20 years. She enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include her husband Brent Porter of Iowa City, one niece and one nephew.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers.

The memorial service for Delores will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 28 at Lunning Chapel.

Per her wishes, cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.
