Jack Patton, 65, of Burlington, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021.
Born Oct. 30, 1955, in Burlington, he was the son of Dennis and Viola Mae Dodge Patton. On Dec. 14, 1996, he married Evelyn Lucille Buckley in Middletown.
Jack worked for McCabe's Tree Service for many years.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, working on cars, and spending time with his nephew. He was known as a handyman and liked to make spoon rings and wind chimes out of silver.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn of Dexter, N.Y.; two sons, Gayle Edward (Laura) Stoneking of Fla. and James Franklin (Becky) Burnett of N.Y.; five daughters, Katrina Marie (Mike) Hammer of Des Moines, Jamie Jean Burnett of Okla., Gayla Louise (Faron) Payne of Okla., Melissa Dawn Agnew of N.Y., and Ashley Myers of Mediapolis; three sisters, Bonnie (Ed) Hartman of Burlington, Sandra (Bruce) Hardy of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Marjorie Bell of Burlington; two brothers, Robert and Jerry Patton both of Burlington; 28 grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Steven; and two sisters, Nancy and Susan.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
There will be no visitation or services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
