Lawrence John Vojcihoski, 71, of Yarmouth, Iowa, passed away on June 30, 2022 in Iowa City.
He was born on July 31, 1950, to Elmer and Eunice Racine Vojcihoski in Menominee, Mich.
He married Marilyn Carruthers on April 28, 1987, in Texas.
Larry grew up in Menominee, Mich., and played bugle for the Northernaires Drum and Bugle Corp. As a young adult, Larry joined the Army and served in Korea and Germany.
He is survived by his siblings Kenneth (Sally) Duquaine of Sun Lakes, Ariz.; Charles (Connie) Vojcihoski of Menominee, Mich.; Kathleen Schwarz of Waukegan, Ill.; and James (Kathryn) Vojcihoski of Peshtigo, Wis.; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn, daughter Amy, parents Elmer and Eunice, brother-in-law Randolph Schwarz, nephew Christopher Charles Vojcihoski, as well as his beloved dogs.
The memorial mass for Larry was Wednesday, July 13, at 1 p.m. at Divine Mercy Parish - SS Mary and Patrick Catholic Church in West Burlington with Very Rev. Fr. Marty Goetz as the celebrant. Burial is in Keokuk National Cemetery Following the service.
