Kason James Coleman, was born at 7:01 p.m. and died peacefully in his parents' arms at 10:19 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City.
He was a beautiful baby boy weighing 14 ounces and 10.8 inches long. In the 3 hrs and 18 minutes of life that he gifted us, he was able to experience love, laughter, and joy with his family.
He was the son of Scotty and Kathryn Cook Coleman.
Survivors include his parents, Scotty and Kathryn Coleman of West Burlington; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Becky Cook of West Burlington; paternal grandparents, Karl and Renae Coleman of Sperry; three aunts, Stacey Coleman, Shelly Villarreal, and Stephany Newkirk; and uncle, Ronnie Cook.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal great-grandparents.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
