Beverly Jane Brown, 94, of Burlington, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington.

Born Dec. 19, 1929, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Alden and Adeline McCready Gladman. On Nov. 16, 1947, she married Willis Reed at Grace United Methodist Church in Burlington. He died Aug. 6, 2022.

Survivors include her son, Tim Brown; daughter, Cheryl Clawson; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11 at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division St.

The memorial service for Mrs. Brown will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11 at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division St.  A time of food and fellowship will be held in the community room at Prugh Funeral Service following the service. Burial will be in South Walker Cemetery at a later date.

A memorial has been established for Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice.
